"Tea Jennys" is arguably the most famous name in Falkirk café history!

Long before “going viral” was even a thing, Jenni Duncan’s showstopping cakes had people travelling from as far as San Francisco to sample her creations at the beloved little café on King’s Close.

We’re thrilled to share that Jenni has recently joined the café, and it didn’t take long for us (and our customers!) to see that her cakes are still every bit the sensation they once were.

With Jenni on board, the café feels more exciting than ever, and we can’t wait to bring you even more wonderful ideas, treats, and memories in future!

LEGACY

Central Perc, located opposite Central Retail Park, was founded by local business couple Robert & Mhairie Hannigan. Together, they built the café into a welcoming space for the Falkirk community, known for its warmth, quality, and friendly atmosphere.

After Mhairie’s passing, Robert and the team have continued to carry her vision forward, making sure that every customer who walks through the doors feels the same sense of belonging, kindness, and care that she inspired.

This is more than a café, it’s a tribute to Mhairie’s legacy and the community she loved.
